GALENA, Mo. -- The
Master Gardeners of the Ozarks and University of Missouri Extension will host the
tenth annual “Fall Gardening Workshop” from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept.
28 in the community room at the Kimberling City Senior Center, 63 Kimberling
Hills Blvd., Kimberling City, Mo.
The event is designed for homeowners seeking tips on garden management. Speakers at this year’s workshop includes”

- “Succulents-Indoors and in the Garden” by Oscar
Cross, Hilltop Gardens, Ash Grove;
- “Vermiculture,” by Mark and Renae Bernskoetter,
master gardeners, Springfield;
- "Gardening for the Birds," by Amy Tucker, Wild Birds Unlimited, Branson
- “Raised Beds” by Marilyn Odneal, horticulture educator with Missouri State University, Mountain Grove.
Space is limited and advance registration is required. The worship fee this year is $18 per person and includes a catered lunch featuring Bourbon chicken for pre-registered participants.
