Join University of Missouri Extension Business and Industry Specialist Willis Mushrush from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., March 25 at the Texas County Extension Office for “Starting a Small Business: The First Steps” workshop.
This three-hour workshop will provide participants with an overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business.
“The program is designed specifically for those who are thinking about a new business venture,” said Mushrush.
During the class, participants will assess their strengths and weaknesses in terms of business ownership, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements and identify sources of funding.
“Starting a business is an exciting proposition, but it’s also an incredibly challenging undertaking,” said Mushrush. “This workshop will help get folks off on the right first steps.”
